Workshops

Rachael has over ten years’ experience in facilitation with young people. She was the director of the Junior Westovians for five years, directing five shows including The Hound of the Baskervilles and Twelfth Night.

In 2014 Rachael ran a series of drama and writing workshops with the Junior Westovians to help them create their own play, Dead & Breakfast, which went on to win a NODA award.

Rachael has worked as a Creative Associate at Seven Stories: The National Centre for Children’s Books and has led a variety of writing workshops for New Writing North.

As a writer she has written and facilitated the writing of bespoke pieces of theatre for the Junior Westovians, Customs House Junior Youth Theatre and North Tyneside Youth Council.

She currently works as a Director and Drama Facilitator with Mortal Fools and Shakespeare Schools Foundation. Rachael is also an NYT Associate.
